ProtoSimTech PT-1 Seen in Action – New Logo

ProtoSimTech is looking to make an affordable high-end pedal set for the community, with their PT-1 unit. Following a long development cycle which has been chronicled on their YouTube channel, they are quickly approaching their release. Chris Smith has released a video, showing off the CNC process involved in the construction of the PT-1 Pedal Set.

If you prefer to see products in action, SimracingNC has a great video for us! He was able to get his hands… er… feet on a set of the ProtoSimTech PT-1, and has given us a video of him running them in iRacing. It is definitely a cool video to watch, and the pedal cam gives us a good idea of how the pedals will function under real-world usage. SimracingNC is planning on releasing another channel for his thoughts on the pedal set, so be sure to subscribe to his channel.

The ProtoSimTech PT-1 will be available for pre-order this Fall:

2-Pedal Set: $319
3-Pedal Set: $379

A release date has not been specified yet, but should be in the near future. It features a unique design for each pedal, including a digressive clutch and load cell brake. The gas and clutch use industrial grade potentiometers, rated for millions of cycles. For more information on the PT-1 pedal set, check out the official ProtoSimTech website.

  1. I’ve been following these Pedals for awhile now and I think they’re gonna be a great Set of Pedals for all of “US” Lower Budget Simmer’s. Chris has put his Blood and Sole into making these some of the Best Pedals out in the Sim World (if Not the Best). I’m Planning on a set in the next year or so.

  2. I see some real good points to the pedals, like price, adjustability, and the large flat pedal faces, but the pedals all being the same height and the distance between the pedals could be problematic. He had trouble heel-toeing and I doubt I could do it either. Not sure if they are mounted together or separately. Interesting.
