SimXperience Announces AccuForce Beta

It’s no secret that SimXperience’s Accuforce wheel is one of the eagerly anticipated products to hit the market, and now Berney Villers has announced what could be the final testing process for the high-end wheel. The best part of all, ten lucky sim racers will get the chance to participate in the Pre-Release Public Test!

SimXperience is looking for ten testers, to put the AccuForce Pro wheel through its paces, and take part in the final testing phases for the direct drive unit. Sim racers can sign up at the link below, for a chance to get a beta unit to test out. Note that the testing is NOT intended for casual racers, and is meant for people able to devote a LOT of time testing the unit to find potential flaws and bugs.

If you are selected to receive an AccuForce Pro, you must pay an $899 deposit (which will be refunded), plus shipping and applicable taxes. As of right now, there is no clear answer as to if testers will need to send back the wheel at the conclusion of the beta test. Racers WILL have the option to return the wheel for the refund of the $899 after the test.

One thing I find interesting is the $899 price figure. Berney has stated that some models of the AccuForce will be priced near the Fanatec Clubsport Wheel V2, which is around $750-950 retail price for a base/rim (post-invites). What I’m wondering is if we could see a DIY model of the Accuforce for under $1,000? If so, we could be seeing a groundbreaking wheel for a fairly reasonable price once it releases later this year.
