FREE?!?!? Wow! What an unexpected and pleasant surprise. Can’t wait to give it a try. I’ll be updating my GSCE immediately.
Thanks Reiza!!
Hmmmm. I’m not getting any cars to show up, except the pace car. Anyone else have this issue?
The car folders all appear to be in the Gamedata/Vehicles/Marcas/ folder but the cars don’t show on the list in game.
lol me 2…lets wait
Well, like they say, “You get what you pay for.”. LOL! 🙂
Apparently there are a couple tricks to get it to work.
1) When you install, skip the option to UPDATE during the install procedure. Conversely, this may cause audio issues.
2) After the install is complete, some people have solved their problems (cars not showing up in menus) by adding a “rFm” directory to the main install folder for the game. There doesn’t seem to need to be anything in it, just existing seems to make the game happy enough to at least run and show all the cars when you get into the game menus.
Good Luck.
I tried the “rFm” folder trick. Didn’t work for me. In GSCE the rFm folder is full of tga and rfm files so it doesn’t make sense that it would be ok for it to be empty.
Anyway, I’ll wait till they patch it.
Install the game without been connected to internet in order to avoid the sync and then just start the game with admin rights
Stop and cancel the sync on instal then add the rFm folder, seemed to work for me using windows 8.1, must be started with admin rights
This is what worked for me.
I just skipped the update and everything worked out fine, myself. No problems whatsoever.
After struggling with an error that my video card do not support DirectX 9 (hmmm i have a AMD 7950..)
and manually config the config.ini file for triple screen, now it is installed and it is very nice.
I am still trying to get some vibrations with simcommander but it does not work for me using GSC2013 profile
If you guys succeed please let me know
Too bad they did not integrate the copa in the Gamestock Car 2013 as a free update in parallel with the free full game!
