  1. Thanks for hosting that special practice session afterwards. Have you guys consider making that a weekly thing or after each episode? How awesome would it be to have instructor guests too!? “Our guest alien this week, ________, will be offering tips on setup for the first half hour, followed by a few laps of follow the leader, then open practice and social driving the remainder.”
I had a blast yesterday. With my schedule becoming increasingly hard to fit in official races due to my first born on the way, I think regular isrtv track days would be a fantastic idea and I’d DEFINATELY attend. You could even do a little recap or something on the show the following week. I’m sure funny stuff would happen too. Also you could use the funny / accidental mishaps in practice to show others what to do in certain situations so we all become a bit more clean and fast while racing in tight groups. Just some positive ideas I thought id throw out there.

  2. Hello John, Darrin,
Great videos, enjoy them a lot….you mentioned in your video about Headphones and not being able to hear chat because of engine noise and vice versa…the ‘Astro A40 Mix Amp Pro’ would possibly be one of the solutions as it can mix the Game and Voice channels together with with a dial getting the balance between the to audio channels to your liking.
I have used it successfully in iRacing and other Sims and also on the Playstation. The Mix Amp Pro can be purchased as a stand alone device so you can use your existing Headphones or purchase it as a bundle with the ‘Astro A4 Headphones’ which I have, and the mic is detachable and very good audio quality and the audio quality of the A40 headphones are fantastic, they are a good all rounder headphone. I have mix Amp Pro connected to my PC via Toslink (Optical) and has Stereo and Virtual 7.1 output and some preset equalizer functions which I use for sim racing as one of them adds a bit more base sound.
The Astro A40 headphones are NOT noise or external sound cancelling so you could hear someone call out or talk beside you providing you have not got the volume up to loud, very light weight and comfortable for long racing sessions….worth a look
