Rseat has announced a new cockpit, the N1. The new chassis comes in five different flavors; N1, N1 Alcantara Edition, N1 M4A 1500 Motion Simulator, N1 M4A 3000 Motion Simulator and N1 M4A 6000 Motion Simulator.
While no pricing was originally announced, the Rseat US store now has the N1 listed for $1,249 and the Alcantara edition for $1,549, placing it above the $899 RS1.
For those prices you get base frame + seat package (leather or Alcantara), which not only look quit beefy, but clearly are at 220 lbs between two boxes! FYI, the customer pays for shipping and that could be a fair chunk of change. Budget accordingly.
Beyond the solid looking, Rally/GT style frame, Rseat offers a bunch of “upgrades” that can be bolted on to the base modular frame. Upgrades include Buttkicker mounts, keyboard and mouse tray, speaker mounts, tablet/button box mount and shifter/hadbrake mount.

Once you go crazy on the options list, the N1 transforms from a pretty streamlined, minimalist chassis, to quit the imposing looking piece of kit. And have to say, design wise, Rseat did a nice job integrating these upgrades on to the base unit. Very clean.
Of course, all of this comes at a price. The upgrades range between $99-$129, quickly adding up.

And if you really want to own an imposing, and motion enabled setup, the M4A line comes with a D-BOX base, allowing for 1.5″ (1500), 3″ (3000) and 6″ (6000) of motion. All N1 upgrades are included. No prices on the motion systems are available at this time.
A limited run of Rseat N1’s are available for pre-order now and will ship on February 22nd from the EU. Regular availability begins March 1st.

Rseat are very well finished and strong, the exact opposite of usual playseat sh*t.
