The Forza Racing Championship Season 1 kicks off August 8! Up for grabs are various exclusive prizes with the ultimate prize being a new 2017 Ford Focus RS, supplied by head sponsors of this inaugural season, the Ford Motor Company! In the wake of recent numerous announcements released by Turn 10 Studios promoting their Forza Racing Championship, the time has finally arrived for Forza Motorsport 6 players to sign up for the first of two ESL hosted events.
The main prize, the mighty Ford Focus RS!

The first season of the Forza Racing Championship will comprise of two separate series, these are the Elite and the Open series. With registration now open, and in order to compete, players may register on the ForzaRC ESL page, which you can do so here. Aside from the opportunity to win the awesome Focus RS, there are many other attractive prizes available to participants in the championship, such as Xbox and Logitech products, as well as Forza Motorsport 6 DLC codes. Digital prizes will also be handed out to all competitors in the form of some very special hinted at in-game cars!
Step right up, folks! A prize for every player!

All players taking part in either series will win prizes. Setting a time in the League Series over the three weeks will earn you the legendary (in Australia anyway, and one of my all-time favourite Aussie V8 muscle cars) 1971 Ford Falcon XY GTHO Phase III to enjoy in-game. The car will also sport livery that refers directly to the event!
All ”Rivals” competitors will receive the 1973 Ford Escort 1600, which will also be seen sporting special event livery each week.
Elite Series
Commencing on Monday, August 8, there will be a qualifying tournament posted each week which will be run under the games ”Rivals” mode. These qualifying tournaments will be hosted by Forza’s ESL partners. Competitors will be allotted three days to post their best times. Each tournament will culminate on the following Saturday, with the best 128 players making the cut and competing for the last 16 slots. The weekly ForzaRC Elite Series Showdown will be held on Sunday and broadcasted live on the Forza Twitch channel.
Each week the four remaining Showdown finalists will also be eligible to win prizes ranging from the new Xbox One S console, Xbox Elite Controllers, as well as wheels from Logitech. After the conclusion of the Week 3 races, 12 finalists will compete against each other for the opportunity to win the main prize, the Ford Focus RS! On September the 4th, the final race will also be streamed on the official Forza Twitch channel.
Open Series
Forza Motorsport 6 hosts the Open Series and pools players with comparable skill levels against one another to compete for the available prizes. As with the Elite Series, the Open Series will also commence on Monday, the 8th of August. The similarity with the Elite Series carries over to the selected cars for that event, the Elite Series cars are as follows:
Mustang GT
Formula Ford
Ford GT Le Mans car
The chosen circuits will vary and the prizes will be handed out as DLC for the title, which will include the Forza Motorsport 6 Car Pass and various cars and expansion packs.
Turn 10 Studios have as yet not divulged to us just how many players will be eligible to win these prizes each week. As with the Elite Series, in order to be able to compete, players will have to register themselves on the ESL page to be entitled to win said prizes.
