With August 26 fast approaching, and in order to promote the imminent console release, Kunos Simulazioni together with 505 Games have released a new Assetto Corsa trailer ”Built For Racers”! In this latest video we are treated to great looking in-game footage demonstrating that Kunos has stayed true to the original PC title in bringing it to the consoles.
To say that the team at Kunos are addicted to the tiniest of details would be an understatement. They have poured many man hours into ensuring the quality of the game is on a par with the PC version. Kunos has stated more than once that the physics side of the title has not been compromised in any way. It is expected that the number of vehicles available at launch, including DLC content, should be north of 100! Counting alternate layouts, the console version’s track count should number 30 plus circuits.
Assetto Corsa has grown in stature to become one of the most popular sim racing titles for the PC. Console players will not have to wait much longer before they may take to their favourite circuit and turn some laps. It will be very interesting to see how the physics in the final release of the console version will stack up to the now very familiar PC simulation.
Assetto Corsa is scheduled to be released on August 26th in Europe and on August 30th in North America on the PS4 and XBOX One.
