Turn 10 has released the Alpinestars Car Pack for Forza Motorsport 5, bringing ten more cars to their Xbox One title. The pack features a wide variety of cars to be driven, ranging from classic cars all the way up to purpose-built speed machines!
One of the cars featured in the pack is the Toyota GT-ONE TS020 race car, which competed in the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1998 and 1999, with a best finish of 2nd in the race. Designed by Dallara and Toyota Team Europe, it has a lightweight carbon fiber body and is propelled by a twin-turbo V8 that produced around 600 horsepower. The car could reach speeds of over 230 miles per hour on the Mulsanne straight.

Anything actually new in this pack? These cars look awfully familiar… Couldn’t they at least change the car numbers on the racecars they re-release as fresh add-on content. I mean what if I’m a big Ukyo Katayama and think martim brundle, Vinchenzo Saspiri, and Emmanuele collard were over rated?
Pretty harsh criticism considering all F5 cars were remodeled for next gen and the competition (PD) took over double the production cycle and didn’t even upgrade all their car models for GT5. As for the cash grab, I’m not so sure that T10 is guilty of anything that every other publisher is as well . . . be it racing, fps, role-playing titles, DLC is the revenue model of the present, not the future.
Lol… “Remodeled” eh? To try and negate some of the coding logic and hygiene issues that were present last time they upscaled them?
I do wish Microsoft would offer support for 3rd party steering wheels 😀
I’m with ya. It’s especially odd when the wheel says FORZA on it, and it doesn’t work, if you know what I mean.
Be a little more creative William Marshe. I am sure you know what i am talking about and i am sure you can be creative.
Wim.. Really ?? You think you’re the only one to receive Turn 10 news ? I got an email about this pack yesterday and so did William and neither of us looked at your site . How did he copy you with this post ?
