SimBin Studios has released their latest Dev-Blog discussing the work happening on RaceRoom Racing Experience (R3E). SimBin continues to remove corner makers from its tracks with Circuit Zolder, Hungaroring, Indianapolis and Monza receiving the on/off marker toggle in next week’s update. SimBin also previews the temporary menus for the multiplayer alpha that’s starting soon. Even though the menus will be replaced when the game transitions to a web based interface, the design will remain. The blog also goes into the progress being made on the NVIDIA driver crashing issue and a recap on the multiplayer alpha.
Lastly, SimBin shows off some previews of the Nissan R35 GTR GT1 that is currently in development. Haven’t heard much about the GTR since it was announced over a year ago so it’s good to see some progress. Check out pics of the new menu design and the Nissan below:

Nice. The Nissan looks excellent. And its good to know theyre working on the nvidia driver crash because R3E and DTM are both worthless to me because they crash every time i play them. But i’d really like to hear some news regarding improved physics. Race 07 had better physics. C’mon SimBin, i know you can do better than this.
Not sure if you’ll see this or even if it will help in your situation but I’ve rolled back to driver version 332.21 and haven’t had the crashes that I was experiencing with the later drivers, its not ideal as the newest driver increases performance in a lot of other games (non sim racing) but if you have the itch for DTME or R3E it’s an option you could look at.
Yes, I tried those drivers but there were issues with some of my other games. I’m counting on SimBin to fix this. There’s no reason their game should be the only one on the planet that doesn’t work with the latest drivers. For now, I’m scratching my DTM itch with the excellent DTM mod from United Racing Design in rFactor2.
