OOvee has unveiled the official release trailer for SPINTIRES, an advanced off-road driving simulator.

SPINTIRES lets you drive Soviet-Era off road vehicles through 1980’s Russia’s rugged terrains, to complete a variety of challenges. You can drive vehicles ranging from lumber trucks, to jeeps, to much more. Modding will also be supported, with some vehicles already available in the official forums!
The sim is set for release June 13th, 2014, but is currently available as a pre-order for $26.99 (which will include a Steam key). You can learn more about SPINTIRES, as well as pre-order it from their site.

Looks like a lot of fun, until you have gone thru all the roads in each vehicle and then what? How many roads and how many miles of roads? More vehicles to come? Looks awful limited.
I kind of agree with Tim. I don’t see how this can be fun for more than a couple of hours. How immerssive can it be? It looks cool from the outside, but I get the image of slowly driving thourgh mud and stuff like that… especially without a full motion rig, I think it would get pretty boring, pretty fast. But who knows…
