A new update today to NASCAR ’14 will allow you to compete for the Sprint Cup championship under the new for 2014 Chase format. The new format mimics this year’s real life Chase for the Cup in which 16 drivers will compete over 10 races, with four drivers competing for the championship in the last race of the year at Homestead-Miami.
Outside of the revised Chase, additional drivers from the 2014 season have been added to complete the 43 car field. AI difficulty has also been adjusted for a better racing experience. The full list of updates can be seen below.
And one more thing… In the name of full disclosure, it appears that the update has some issues. ETX made this post over at their Facebook page trying to alleviate the problem, but based off of the responses, I’m not sure its helping.
