While Sébastien Loeb Rally EVO (SLRE) has been grabbing all the rally headlines as of late, let’s not forget about our favorite title of 2015, DiRT Rally. While we’ve been focused on SLRE, the boys at Codemasters have been, “dotting their i’s and crossing their t’s,” in anticipation for the April 5th console release. And by that I mean coming up with a whole bunch of new content.

Codemasters have released this New Content Trailer which shows off quit a bit of newness in the works for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and even current PC owners. The new content includes Classic Mini and Super 1600 rallycross racing, 21 advanced rally driving video guides, vintage full-gravel Pikes Peak – in the new Peugeot 208 T16 Pikes Peak – and three Colin McRae liveries. Because Subaru.

New Cars
– Peugeot 208 T16 Pikes Peak
– Renault 5 Turbo
– Renault Alpine A110
– Opel Corsa Super 1600
– Peugeot 207 S1600
– Renault Clio S1600
– Mini Classic Rallycross

So, that all sounds cool, but how do we get it and how much will it cost? Very good question.
Alongside the new content, Codemasters has announced two packs, the Fully Loaded MINI Pack and the Fully Loaded Rallycross Pack. You receive both if you pre-order. The Fully Loaded MINI Pack unlocks and fully upgrades the MINI Cooper S from the start of the game, gives an exclusive livery for the car, and provides a unique team mechanic with perks.
What does the Fully Loaded Rallycross Pack get you? Not sure, Codemasters didn’t say…

On top of the packs, they’ll be two limited edition versions of the game. The limited run DiRT Rally Legend Edition gets you the Fully Loaded MINI Pack and the super-limited edition DiRT Rally SteelBook comes with a complete Driver’s Guide.
While I would be interested to know what we get as part of the base game, and what is pre-order/DLC, I have to say, our favorite title of 2015 looks to be getting better.
