Codemasters have released what they are calling a ‘teaser trailer’ for their latest edition of the Formula 1 license, F1 2015. This is the first time we get to see the game in video form and it certainly shows the advantages of the next-gen consoles (and PC). The cars, environment and drivers look pretty fantastic. It even appears like the Codemasters late day/yellowish haze effect that have been in previous versions has been cleaned up.

While pretty graphics are nice, how the game drives is what really matters. Codemasters have said they’ve made improvements, including a new tire model, but of course they’re not going to say, “its the same old game but this time with 2015 cars and prettier graphics!”
And on the subject of 2015 cars, the game will launch with all the cars from the 2014 grid and the 2015 cars in pre-season testing form. 2015 cars will be updated to their real-world counterparts as the season progresses.
Unfortunately, along with this trailer came some not so great news. The release date has been pushed from June 12th to July 10th in the UK, Europe and Australia. North America will get it on the 21st and Brazil on the 24th of July. F1 2015 will be available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Steam and PC.
