Coming ahead of next week’s 2016 season 3 build, the team at iRacing have released an onboard lap of Imola in the McLaren Honda MP4 30. The video features a full lap of the officially named Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari, or as the circuit is better known to most racing enthousiasts the world over, Imola. With the initial licensing announcement dating back to 2013, iRacing has been developing the Imola circuit for a number of years now. As with the licensing, the laser-scanning work was also completed a year or two ago.
The McLaren in this video is quite quick around the circuit, 1:22:82 seems like a good time. Although, looking at some of the most recent pole positions at the circuit, there is still room for improvement considering these are times from non-turbo, ERS or DRS cars.

There will surely be a huge number of iRacers champing at the bit to get driving around this iconic circuit! With the release of this video, it brings that prospect ever closer! Imola will be released as part of iRacing’s new season update next week.
