Before my review, I put together these Forza Horizon 2 gameplay videos of my first three hours. This is mainly raw gameplay, the good the bad and the ugly but I did cut it down a bit to “cut to the chase” so to speak. I’m running Forza Horizon 2 with the Thrustmaster TX Racing Wheel, T500 modified pedal set and in hour three the TH8A shifter. In Hour three I also switched to the 458 Italia GTE rim as I prefer that over the stock 458 Italia rim that the TX bases comes with.
Hour One:

In this first hour, I’m mainly getting a feel for the map and controls. I also realize later in the video that I can adjust my Force Feedback, Vibration and Degrees of Rotation just like you can in Forza Motorsport 5. I also mention that the Thrustmaster TH8A shifter isn’t compatible but as you will see in the third hour, it is.
Hour Two:

In this second hour as you can see I’m becoming more comfortable with the game and how it flows.
Hour Three:

Finally I figure out that I can use the TH8A shifter because I didn’t do the required firmware upgrade that the wheel needed to work. I race it with all assists off, manual shifting with the clutch for the most realism possible.
I hope you enjoy these videos and if you haven’t seen it yet, you can read and or watch my full review here.
More Forza Horizon news here as well.

Looks pretty cool. It is kind of a gamer game as much as it is a racer game. Which is good, it widens the pool of racers. Looks fun at least for a while. Too bad it is not PC compatible.
Good way to put it Tim. I wish it was PC compatible too.
