Assetto Corsa – Porsche DLC Volume 1 Released For Playstation 4

Kunos SImulazioni and 505 Games have partially kept their promise to release the first Porsche DLC Volume 1 pack for the consoles in November. Yesterday, the Assetto Corsa maker released the first Porsche volume 1 for one of the consoles, the Playstation 4. Coinciding with the console release, their is also an 1.09 update available for the PS4 version, more on that a little later. Kunos has offered an explanation as to why the XBOX One version of the Porsche pack has been delayed. They assure XBOX One players that the issues are being worked on and they are hoping for a timely resolution.

Xbox One Update & DLC Launch:

Unfortunately, we have encountered some problems with the Xbox One update and we are unable to launch the patch and Porsche Pack Vol. 1 DLC today. The team at Kunos are working flat out right now and doing all they can to solve the issues, resubmit and bring the update, along with the Porsche Pack Vol. 1 DLC, to Xbox One as soon as possible! Stay tuned to our community channels… We will update you as and when we can with more information.

As with the PC release of  the first officially licensed Porsche DLC content for sim racing in many years, volume 1 contains an eclectic mix of seven classic and modern offerings from the the German coach builder. Some of these cars are historical racers, such as the insanely powerful 1500bhp 917/30 Spyder, while others are up to date modern day models like the 919 Spyder Hyper-car!  Free content for the first pack comes in the form of the second-generation Porsche Panamera G2 Turbo and the historic version of the Silverstone circuit.

Included Cars:

  • Porsche 911 Carrera S
  • Porsche 918 Spyder
  • Porsche 911 Carrera RSR 3.0
  • Porsche 718 Cayman S
  • Porsche 917/30 Spyder
  • Porsche 935/78 ‘Moby Dick’
