PXN Gamescom 2026: Racing & Flight Sim

PXN Gamescom 2026 lineup featuring two Formula steering wheels and the S-Series direct drive base

Can one company credibly show up to PXN Gamescom 2026 with a flagship direct drive base, three formula wheels spanning three different price points, and an entire flight sim ecosystem, all on the same day? PXN just tried, and the lineup is big enough that it needs two sections to cover properly.

You’ll find all of it at Hall 10.1, Booth C-041, a separate booth from MOZA’s setup across the hall. We weren’t there ourselves, this is based on floor footage from a contact at the show, but the specs below come straight from PXN’s own materials.

PXN Gamescom 2026 Racing: A Direct Drive Base and Three Wheels Deep

The headline here is PXN’s new S-Series direct drive bases, and they’re a serious jump for the brand.

The S16 delivers 16Nm of constant torque. The S23 pushes that to 23Nm. Both are making their Gamescom debut, and both share the same core tech:

  • Dual-core processing for millisecond-level force feedback response
  • 24-bit magnetic encoder
  • A real torque sensor, not an estimated output
  • Custom tuning through PXN SimRacing software (torque, force feedback, LEDs)
  • Intelligent temperature control for long sessions

At the booth, for example, the S16 is running in a full setup paired with PXN’s GT ONE wheel and Vector X load cell pedals. No pricing yet on either base.

Two New Formula Wheels

On the wheel side, PXN brought two new Formula designs. The W FC is the flagship. It has a genuine carbon-fiber faceplate and rear cover, a CNC-anodized quick-release, and adjustable Hall-effect shift paddles. You also get a self-centering toggle switch, 12-position thumb encoders, and a 4.3-inch touchscreen customizable through PXN SimRacing and SimHub.

The W FS is the more accessible option at 290mm. It’s built from CNC aluminum-alloy with a carbon-fiber-textured front panel and the same 4.3-inch touchscreen. You also get 12 programmable buttons, four carbon-fiber Hall-effect paddles plus two micro-switch paddles, multi-mode knobs, seven-way funky switches, 15 adjustable rev LEDs, and six flag indicator LEDs. Neither wheel has a confirmed price yet.

You’ll also spot a hot pink wheel floating around Gamescom photos from the booth. Worth knowing upfront: that’s not a new model, it’s a colorway of the existing GT ONE wheel, the same one we already put through a full review at $199. If the pink catches your eye, the hardware underneath is one you can already read a verdict on.

Budget Pick: The VD6 Bundle

For anyone building on a tighter budget, PXN’s VD6 Bundle was also on hand for hands-on testing. It’s a direct drive base, 280mm wheel, and PC pedals in one ready-to-race package, currently listed at $359 on PXN’s site. It’s the one product in this entire racing lineup you can actually buy today. If you’re weighing it against other options in the same price range, our budget wheel roundup is a good place to cross-check it.

One more for completeness: PXN also previewed the W TS, a 400mm Scania-style wheel built specifically for Euro Truck Simulator and American Truck Simulator. No photo of it from the floor, but it’s real and it’s coming.

PXN’s Flight Sim Debut: Meet NAVOS

This is the bigger story if you’re not a racing purist. PXN has never shipped flight sim hardware before. At Gamescom 2026, they launched an entire ecosystem at once, called NAVOS.

The NAVOS Yoke System is the civil aviation half. It’s built to expand as your setup grows:

  • 180° roll travel
  • 120mm total pitch travel
  • Contactless encoder sensing
  • Tool-free, interlocking modular construction
  • A central 12-port hub for adding components over time

Pairing with it is the NAVOS Engine Control Quadrant, a modular throttle unit built for exactly this kind of setup:

  • 4 throttle axes
  • 16-bit Hall-effect sensing
  • Interlocking modular design, matching the yoke’s expansion philosophy

The NAVOS Engine Control Quadrant pairs directly with the yoke.

On the combat side, PXN showed the NAVOS Combat HOTAS, built for military aviation and aerobatic flying. What we’ve got a shot of is the throttle module specifically, not the paired joystick, so keep that in mind if you’re picturing the full two-piece system. The throttle module alone carries 11 axes, 61 programmable inputs, and 3 mode switches, with preset aircraft profiles to get new pilots flying faster.

All of it runs through PXN’s NEXUS software, which handles presets, control mappings, response curves, and aircraft-specific profiles across the whole NAVOS line.

What PXN Gamescom 2026 Hasn’t Confirmed Yet

Worth being straight about this: outside of the VD6 Bundle, nothing here has a price tag yet.

  • No pricing for the S16 or S23 direct drive bases
  • No pricing for the W FC, W FS, or W TS wheels
  • No pricing anywhere across the NAVOS lineup, yoke, quadrant, or Combat HOTAS
  • The hot pink wheel is a GT ONE colorway, not a new SKU
  • Our Combat HOTAS asset shows the throttle module only, the joystick half exists in PXN’s materials but wasn’t photographed at the booth

PXN Gamescom 2026 is a showcase, not a launch. Worth watching, not something to budget for yet.

Final Thoughts on PXN Gamescom 2026

PXN didn’t just add a new direct drive base this year, they opened an entire second front in flight simulation on the same day. That’s a genuinely different move than most hardware brands make at a show like this, most companies pick one lane and stay in it. Still, whether NAVOS becomes a real competitor to established flight sim players depends entirely on pricing and availability. PXN hasn’t said a word about either yet.
