Radiator Springs Racing has updated their Live Timing plugin for Assetto Corsa, allowing users to compete in a dynamic hotlapping competition. After the plugin is installed, users can log into the Live Timing program via their Steam account, and track their laps against the ranks of other drivers on the Radiator Springs website. RSR has made an introductory guide that is available here. This will definitely provide some racers a fix to the competition itch many racers are having, as they wait for the AI and Multiplayer to be added to Assetto Corsa.

After releasing many snippets of information and its November release, Thrustmaster has released the full presentation of their TX Racing Wheel for the Xbox One and PC. The wheel’s base contains a brushless force feedback motor that communicates forces to the wheel via a dual-belt system. The TX system features an officially licensed 7:10 scale replica of the Ferrari 458 Italia’s steering wheel and a Ferrari style pedal set. The wheel also is part of Thrustmaster’s new TX Ecosystem, with add-ons such as the TH8A shifter, T3PA pedal set, as well as the already available Formula 1 and 458 GTE rims compatible with the unit.
