For the last several months, Sector3 Studios have been busy steadily treating us to previews of upcoming content for their PC sim racing title, RaceRoom. To that end, today, Monday November 14th, at 8pm CET, Sector3 will host a RaceRoom live dev stream event where the studio will reveal some of their upcoming plans for the title. We can only speculate as to what might be in store for the game.

One of the features that a growing portion of the sim racing community are certainly hoping for is VR support. Since the early adoption of VR a year or so ago, it has been very, very quiet on that front. It would be nice to see RaceRoom joining the growing ranks of VR supported sim racing titles. Perhaps we may find out more this evening during the live stream?
There was also talk back in March of this year that a small team within Sector3 were working on a version of the game running the Unreal engine 4. More details or a progress update would be very welcome indeed, as the advantages of implementing the Unreal engine technology in the genre is potentially huge! The image here below is a leaked WIP pic from early Unreal development work and has since been labeled as unflattering, but nonetheless it is an example of their early work with the new engine.
