Welcome To Our New Home

Welcome to our new home, or new look for our website. The old format served it’s purpose for years, but it was time for something more modern that we could update frequently. There’s so many great stories developing in sim racing daily, that we want to be able to discuss them with you as they break. With our show / video format, as much as we’d like to bring you daily updates, logistically we can’t. But we can in writing, right here !

Will there still be Inside Sim Racing videos and reviews? Yes !  As we get rolling, we’ll be providing hopefully more videos in a slightly different format. Instead of the videos that are up to an hour in length (yes, we’ve been crazy enough to do an hour long show on You Tube). We’re going to do longer written reviews with shorter video recaps, with additional driving and tech videos to supplement the written format. This allows us to cover more content and to go deeper in depth by using this website or blog format. Our first review in this format is here and it’s the Ricmotech Load Cell mod for the Logitech G27

With the new website comes a lot of changes for those that have been coming for the past 6 years. Starting with what we hope is a lot more organization and easy access to all the content we’ve produced over the past 6 years. We’ve also started a “NEWS” section that we plan to populate daily with different stories from around the sim racing community. We also plan on discussing league racing, special events, software and hardware releases and a whole lot more!

We’ll also be launching a new “Getting Started in Sim Racing” section on November 1st 2013 that will be integrated into our forums and this new blog. We will have links, videos, tutorials and as much information as we can find to keep that section up to date. We hope to have many knowledgeable contributors from the sim racing community to help us fulfill this goal.

Shaun Cole and myself will be monitoring these sections daily to help you on you path to a sim racing career. If you want to dabble on the consoles or go full blown simulation racing on the PC, we hope to have something for you. For now, you can ask us anything you’d like to know about sim racing HERE.

Our forums have received a slight face lift and if you haven’t visited it in a while, it’s completely different than what we started with and also has a chat room to go with it. We have started populating our forums with some sections that will act as a very powerful resource center for those that are getting started in sim racing, or have been involved for many years.
