Sector3 Studios continues the painfully slow leak of what we assume will be their next car pack (or experience?) for RaceRoom Racing Experience (R3E) featuring the Group 5 cars of yesteryear. Joining the Fabcar, Monza and Skyline will be the 1977 Chevrolet “Greenwood” Corvette, aka the Batmobile. Love that name (and looks the part).
The Batmobile was the brainchild of brothers John and Burt Greenwood. They were particularly interested in maximizing the car’s downforce and achieved it through the wild looking fiberglass body kit. The body kit also made room for a giant V8…I like their thinking.
Considering the Sector3 gang left us with this note, it sounds like we’re only one car away from seeing the R3E Group 5 car pack as a whole.

Well this is awesome, of course. But they’ve been saying “soon” for about 2 months now. I hope, for their sake, this Gr5 car pack gets released before PCars gets released otherwise it may end up being the best R3E car pack that no one ever plays.
As in comedy, so is software releases (i.e. Timing is everything).
I agree. Usually Sector3 teases something and releases it within a month. This pack has been leaking now for three months.
It’s a awesome group, and R3E gets better and better if they actually release it “soon”.
