Sector3 Studios have revealed the 2016 season Audi Sport TT Cup is coming to RaceRoom Racing Experience! The makers of the popular sim racing title have been working closely with Audi TT Cup driver Simon Larsson to get his input on the real car’s handling. Sector3 are in the fortunate position to have access to car telemetry, allowing them to make direct comparisons between virtual and real laps. This access gives them a unique insight into real world physics, which can be then translated to the game making for a more realistic driving model.

The 2016 Audi Sport TT Cup add-on will include all liveries and drivers from the current season. For people that may like to get a taste of the series, the 2015 version of the add-on is available for RaceRoom Racing Experience and can be found on Steam. Sector3 Studios have not given us any indication as to exactly when they will officially release the 2016 Audi Sport TT Cup add-on. However, they did let slip that the wait may not be all too long before we are able to sample the latest addition to the growing RaceRoom stable.
The 2016 Audi Sport TT Cup:
The Audi Sport TT Cup is now in its second full season. The series is the support event for the DTM (Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters) and 24 Hours of the Nurburgring. The 2016 season fields sixteen full-time international pro drivers and nineteen part time or guest drivers. It got underway on May 7th, 2016 at Hockenheim and will conclude on October 16th, where it started at Hockenheim.
