MAK-Corp Announces New Website – IFS3 Mod Released

MAK-Corp over the years has established itself as one of the premier modding groups, making quality content for a variety of sims. However, since they didn’t have a functional website for a while, it was kind of difficult to get an idea on what they were working on. Now, they have given us a shiny new website, for us to have a central hub for all their content!

Check out the new MAK-Corp website here.

To celebrate the site’s release, MAK-Corp has released not one, but two mods! Well, TECHNICALLY it is one mod, but for two platforms! Yep, MAK-Corp has released their first mod for Assetto Corsa! They have released version 0.5 of their International Formula Series 3 08 mod for Assetto Corsa, while the rFactor 2 version has been bumped up to version 0.9. This mod is definitely a fun one to try out, and now that it’s on multiple platforms, it means “the more the merrier”! For more information on the rFactor 2 release, you can check out the Changelog below (no log has been provided for the Assetto Corsa release, since it is the first one).

Some other mods from the Australian modding team is the Classic Cars mod, which looks to replicate iconic cars from racing history. As of right now, the mod features the iconic Group C era of Le Mans racers, which includes the howling Mazda 787B. If screaming fast open wheelers are more your speed, check out the F1 Classics mod, which features three Formula One cars:

  • 1993 Marlboro Mclaren Ford MP4/8
  • 1994 Marlboro Mclaren Peugeot MP4/9
  • 2004 Williams FW26

In addition to what we’ve seen, there is a lot that has yet to be announced. Earlier, MAK-Corp also is working on a commercial Formula E sim for events, which may make its way to rF2/AC. Time will tell as to what other mods will be released!

          1. Yep. I can open the cars file and see it in with all the other cars, but I do not see it in the game.
