Back in April, we reviewed the MXGP racing game for the PC and Playstation 3. Now, Milestone and PQube have announced that MXGP – The Official Motocross Videogame will be heading to the Playstation 4!

The latest trailer released for the PS4 version of MXGP features a sound recording session with eight time MXGP World Champion Antonio Cairoli. It is an interesting video to see how the game developers utilize microphones worn by a rider to capture real life racing sounds. I also have to say, the game looks quite nice on the PS4, and looks to do a good job capturing the gritty and dirty nature of Motocross.
For those of you who don’t know, this will be Milestone’s second release for the Playstation 4. Prior to MXGP, they released MotoGP 14 for the PS4, which we also reviewed. I hope that Milestone’s experience developing for the PS4 can carry over to MXGP, to bring an awesome Motocross experience to the latest generation.
