iRacing Follows NPAS Champion Michael Conti to Homestead

Chase Elliott wasn’t the only high schooler to take home a NASCAR championship this year.  The other was Michael Conti, who won the 2014 NASCAR PEAK Antifreeze Series Presented by iRacing.com (NPAS) Championship.  Not only did Michael become $10,000 richer but he got to celebrate his championship at the Homestead-Miami Speedway with all of the other NASCAR Champions.

iRacingTV tagged along with Michael on his trip to Miami and checked out some of the cool activities he got to partake in as a NASCAR champion.  And listen to those speaking skills!  Somebody get this kid a sponsor in a real world car, he’s ready to move product!

I think my favorite part of the video was Michael talking about getting his first sim, wheel and pedals at the ripe old age of 5.  Clearly if I had started earlier I would be better…(not really, I’m hopeless).

  1. That is good to see iRacing is making their presence more accessible to real world racers. Spread the knowledge. Btw, 5 yrs. old? Wow. I was born way too early. LOL
