Game Stock Car Extreme V1.27 Released

Reiza Studios continues to update Game Stock Car Extreme (GSCE) at a torrid pace as it has released V1.27 of the title less than a month after its last update, V1.25.  And while many developers would be just fixing bugs this soon after a major update, Reiza is upping the anti by not only fixing bugs but adding new content in the form of the 4-stroke GX390 amateur racing spec kart.  And…to enhance your karting experience, the Londrina karting track has been added, featuring three layouts.

Other notable changes are updated terrain shaders and textures at Spielberg, Spielberg Historic & Interlagos Historic (the first of all the tracks being updated), sound updates, physics tweaks and AI improvements.  And naturally, some bugs were also fixed/improved while others are still present and are being worked on (see entire changelog below).

One update that didn’t make this release is the integration of Copa Petrobras de Marcas, the free stand-alone title from Reiza, into GSCE.  That is said to be coming in the next update.

Known issues:

Several code-related issues reported from v1.21 & v1.25 are still present in this build, as the code is still being rewritten to eliminate most of the main issues and introduce new features. This is expected to be finished for v1.30 coming up next. For that reason v1.27 has the following known issues:

Bug in the scoring in championship mode for all series;

F-Extreme can occasionally disappear when hitting 8th gear in multiplayer;

F-Extreme & F-Reiza tyre restrictions are not applying in pitstops;

Setting grid position (when qualifying is turned off) does not work (always start from pole

Dedicated tool does not work from Steam version (does work from NonSteam install)
