Anyone who has followed the rFactor modding community over the years is very familiar with the quality work done by the EnduRacers Modding Team and their Endurance Series mod. The rFactor (rF1) mod has faithfully recreated the cars of the ALMS, LMS and Le Mans from the 2006-2010 seasons. To date, the mod contains 29 cars, released over three service packs, over at least five years (it’s been so long that I’ve honestly lost track).
After the mod’s Service Pack 3 March release, the team decided it was time to move forward and bring the mod to rFactor 2 (rF2). Today, we get the first look at this effort with 18 screenshots of the Endurance Series mod for rF2. It’s never looked better.
The screenshots show off the Aston Martin V8 Vantage GTE, Oreca 03, Zytek, Corvette C6R ZR1 and the Flat6 GTC (Porsche). The team does – understandably – state that these are work in progress shots and may not reflect the final quality of the mod.
With that said, it looks pretty good for only several weeks of development to me. It will be neat to see what the team can do with the extra features and power of rF2 over rF1.
And as a pubic service announcement, EnduRacers are still looking for talented modders to join the team, especially those with 3D modeling skills. If you can help, let them know!

Well, this will undoubtedly be my favorite mod for rF2, once released. Really looking forward to this.
