F1 2015 by Codemasters is out for half the world today. If you’re a lucky resident of either the UK, Europe or Australia you can purchase F1 2015 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC or Steam. If you are a resident of the US or Brazil you have to wait until the 21st and 24th. Sigh.
F1 2015 is the first Codemasters F1 title to go next-gen. Not only that but the game is a complete re-build from the circa 2014 edition with new physics and multiplayer features. And speaking of 2014, you can also drive the awkward nosed cars from the 2014 season…because you really like driving the Hockenheimring (which isn’t drivable in 2015 mod since F1 doesn’t go there this year).
On the flip side, it sounds like the ground up building has caused a few features from years past to be left out. Early user reviews indicate that there is currently no Safety Car, single player career mode or online co-op, all features from past years. Will be interesting to see if some of these features get patched in down the line.
