Well that was snappy. A day after seeing the Formula RaceRoom 2 (FR2) for the first time in months, Sector3 Studios has released the open-wheeler. The car is currently available for 349 vRP, or 75% off. Take that with whatever grain of salt you like. For the vRP’s you get 22 spec FR2’s – aka 22 liveries – to give you a well rounded field of AI to compete against.
While we haven’t seen any official specs on the car, it sounds like it sports a V8 engine, just like the real-world GP2 car it’s based off of. Can confirm that it has a 6 speed transmission and can hit 300+ km/h. That’s sporty.
Other GP2 specs can be viewed here. Again, may not be totally in-line with these specs but best we got until Sector3 confirms or denies them.

What do you guys think of the first open wheel car for RaceRoom? Sector3 says this is just the beginning for open wheel cars in the title. Is it a good start?
