Sector3 Studios has released the first official images of the laser scanned RaceRoom version of the Nordschleife. Yes, it isn’t the first time we’ve seen the track – this time last year and back in August – but this is the first time we’ve seen it in any type of completion, and it looks lovely.
Lovely in like, seriously, Sector3 does a really nice job with their color pallete, maybe the best out there.
The only message Sector3 Studios delivered with the images are these couple sentences.

So….yea…it’s coming next year, which doesn’t look like too hard of a release schedule to hit based off these photos.
Get your hotlap of the Assetto Corsa and iRacing laser scanned versions of the Nordschleife ready, cause there’s going to be another version to endlessly debate the accuracy over #soon.
Should be pretty nice and smooth.
So I’ve had the last week with Race Room, Rfactor 2, Assetto Corsa and Project Cars. I must say, Rfactor 2 and Race Room are leaps and bounds above the other two in the physics and realism departments. Wish they would up their graphics game.
