With this year’s Gamescom trade fair in Cologne, Germany well under way, Sony Interactive Entertainment and Polyphony Digital, makers of the upcoming Gran Turismo instalment ”Gran Turismo Sport”, are promoting their attendance at the trade fair by posting a huge new Gran Turismo Sport image gallery! The just-released gallery features a wide range of locations and vehicle types to be included in the new title.
Still under development, Gran Turismo Sport promises to expand on the extremely popular Playstation franchise, with the inclusion of VR support for the as yet unreleased Playstation VR headset. A very exciting development and a first for a console racing title, is the full sanctioning by the FIA (short for Federation International Automobile) of the game. This will offer players opportunities to compete in international race series and events for prizes and the chance to obtain an endorsed FIA racing license!
Along with several new game modes and features, Gran Turismo Sport’s car count will top 140 vehicles from normal road-going models to fire breathing, full-blown race cars! Included circuits in the title will number 27 separate layouts, covering 19 locations, encompassing everything from road to dirt courses.
With many GT fans eagerly anticipating the release of Gran Turismo Sport, Sony Interactive Entertainment and Polyphony Digital are applying the finishing touches to their latest addition to the franchise, which is scheduled to release November 15th, 2016 to the North American and Asian markets, November 16th in Europe, and finally November 18th in the UK.
