iRacing has released the latest video in the iRacingTV series, taking a look at the development of the BMW Z4 GT3 car.

The video gives the sim racers a behind the scenes perspective of what it takes to get a car in the iRacing service. It is chock full of information, ranging from gathering data at the track, to recording the sounds, to the constructing of the 3D model. People who are interested in development videos will be sure to enjoy this half-hour video.
The BMW Z4 GT3 will be the third car in the iRacing GT3 Challenge Series, joining the McLaren MP4-12C and the RUF RT 12R Track. iRacing is claiming that it will be one of their best race cars to date on the service. The car has been recently released to Alpha, and should be rolling into virtual garages in the near future.
You looking forward to the BMW’s arrival to iRacing? How do you think it’ll fare against the McLaren and RUF?
I really cant wait for this to be released i think it will fair good against the Mclaren and not shore about the RUF that’s tough one but then again it depends who’s behind the wheel.

in the video they actually talk about balancing the performance against the other gt3 cars, so while it will feel totally different it’s performance will be probably on par with the ruf and mclaren. as its a front engine rear wheel drive car it should be good mid corner but not that good on corner exit. we shall see soon. but i’m excited as this will be a great series
