Yesterday I was monitoring the news out of the New York Auto Show and came across Subaru’s entrant for the 2014 Global Rallycross (GRC) season. It got me wondering “why isn’t there a GRC sim?” Well as luck would have it, Darin passed along this little gem to me today, the Virtual Rallycross Mod for rFactor.
The mod is currently available in beta form with 12 cars, 35 skins and 9 tracks. The download page at virtualrallycross.com site appears to be down at the moment but the beta can be found here and here. There isn’t too much information out there in terms of release date or total car and track count but the team has regular updates at their Facebook page so keep checking that out if you’re interested. I’ve been running these dudes around like chickens with their heads cut off for about a week, and they are seriously wicked fun to blast around in. Get 5 cars going on a smallish GRC track and let the fender bending begin!
