The team at Slightly Mad Studios has released a new trailer for their upcoming title, Project CARS, and boy the Wii U has never looked better! Ok, I kid. But the graphics – most likely form the PC – do look spectacular. Let’s just keep our fingers crossed that something other than the highest end video cards can run it. Also that it drives as well as it looks, cause you know, we do kind of appreciate the driving part around here.
Project CARS will be released starting in November on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Wii U, Windows and Steam.

Epic trailer.
With the input from the community and real racing drivers, it HAS to be good, doesn’t it?
I would hope so. Nic Hamilton, Ben Collins(Stig), and Rene Rast all regularly give feed back. The WMD community is chock full of active Sim Racers from just about every title out there also giving feed back. And here’s the kicker. The devs actually implement changes on a regular basis based on that feedback from all sources.
It’s not called Project Community Assisted Racing Simulator for nothing. 😀
Project Cars trailer watch your back Forza and Gran Turismo . That new hotness is coming son!

John,
Ask Darrin to fire up his pCARS account if you want to see how it drives. Please visit the WMD forums first to see which cars are further along in Development. Also to get some tips on how to setup your FFB for pCARS. The process isn’t quite streamlined yet. I highly recommend trying out the BMW Z4 GT3 to whet yur whistle. 🙂
I think ATM we are at a point where putting more time into car setup makes a bit of difference. People may not realize we have tread compound options that the bigger percentage of developers have gotten away from and have only one tire offering with giving the modders the options to create more with hit or miss quality. The loads of work SMS has put into tires I see as a huge seller of this what will become franchise of titles along with the continued work on other systems within the core overall as well. So yes please do spend some time with setups try the different tire options and give a good number of cars a run on different locations
The video looks and sounds great. I wonder if we will be able to play on a pc against folks on PS4 like GT7 says we will be able to do? It could be epic then.
