Gran Turismo Honors Ayrton Senna – New Content Coming Soon

On the 20th anniversary of Ayrton Senna’s passing, Gran Turismo and the Instituto Ayrton Senna have released “Ayrton’s Wish”, a documentary short on Ayrton’s dream for Brazilian children to realize their potential through education.  The short film is directed by Tamir Moscovici, whose credits also include KAZ: Pushing the Virtual Divide and Urban Outlaw. The film is definitely worth the watch, and it’s remarkable to see how much of an impact Senna truly made in Brazil.

Along with the film’s release, Sony has announced that the “Senna Based Content” will be released later this month. The Lotus 97T is one of the cars to be included in the DLC. More information will be released in the coming days through the Playstation Blog and on Gran Turismo’s official Facebook page.

Are you excited for the new DLC coming this month? Do you have memories of watching Senna race?

Awesome! Senna was the greatest of all time. Driving a 1200 hp manual transmission, no traction control, F1 car in the rain like nobody ever had the balls to do. Besides, a great human being. Miss him a lot.
