Derek Speare has been busy, announcing two new products in two days! He has announced a new button box, as well as a new USB controller board.
First off, we have the DSD Race King r12 LED. The next generation Race King device, this is a jam packed button box, with everything but the kitchen sink, making for 48 functions:

This is definitely one of the nicer button boxes I’ve seen from DSD, and would good on any rig. It is available now from Derek Speare Designs’ website for $239.75.
If you’re more of a DIY aficionado, Derek has got something planned for you as well! He as announced a new 32 button controller, reduced to the smallest footprint possible. The controller clocks in at 50mmx35mm, and can fit 32 buttons without using a matrix. This new controller will retail for around $50, and will be available for testing in the next month or so. More information will be coming in the near future.

I bought the P1 and promptly took it apart to fit to my setup. What it did do was allow me to see the high quality of the assembly. Quite honestly, I don’t know how he manufactures these so cheaply especially as international shipping was also included in the price.
I’ve also just ordered the ‘Tilton’ style pedal pads for the CSPs. Looking forwards to those when they arrive.
