Kunos Simulazioni took to social media yesterday and did their best to “break the internet” with three pictures sporting the ‘Dream Pack’ coming to V1.1 of Assetto Corsa.  The good news, the cars and the Nurburgring Nordschleife look gorgeous.  The bad news, no new information has been released about the when the pack will be released and how much it’ll cost.

Kunos says they’re working night and day on the pack and hopefully we’ll see the fruit of their labor soon.

Dream Pack Car List

Alfa Romeo 4C, 155 DTM and GTA

McLaren P1 and F1 GTR

Nissan GT-R Nismo 2014 GT3

Chevrolet Corvette C7R GTE

Mercedes 190 DTM

Sauber-C9

    1. Whoops, forgot to put The Ring as part of the pack too. Kinda big deal. So one new track that’s the length of four or five tracks.

      1. It’s still just one track, though–one that’s in most other driving games. Tracks will always be AC’s weakness, it seems.

        1. True. Number of tracks is an AC weakness. Been some decent mod tracks but Kunos does need to develop more themselves.

          1. I wonder if that comes down to the lack of internal resources, lack of interest, or the lack of funding for licensing and such. pCARS might be the big winner when it comes to value.

          2. I’d rather a few laser-scanned tracks than hundreds of regular tracks. They’re so much more dynamic and immersive. They also represent a big step forward at a time when there’s lots of steps sideways and backwards in sim racing.

          3. There are a handful of decent ones, but still nothing like what you’d find included with other titles. There’s only so much that individual creators can do, I guess.

          4. I have had a lot of fun with the mod tracks recently, probably at least ten good ones imo. I would say the modded tracks are generally better than modded cars, so I’m of the opposite opinion – I think they should be focusing on the cars! To each his own, of course, but I think you are being a bit harsh 🙂

          5. And, even more disappointing, is the complete lack of American tracks. I know it’s probably difficult for a company with a small staff to travel off continent but, still, we’re really missing out on some good ones.

          6. I live in Canada. Maybe I can draw Mont-Tremblant or Gilles Villeneuve on a napkin and send it to them so they can make it… 😉

I agree, not enough tracks….and really not enough US track….
At least the mods save the game…A lot of good ones (cars and track).

Now that I know how to generate the missing maps, it just gets better! 😉

          7. Laser scan tracks are a must for real life racers, but it will clearly never going to happen to me (until the sell a “talent” DLC)! 😉

  1. I like Assetto Corsa and a real finalized type version of Nordschleife. They really need to get going though with Project Cars nearing their release.
