After the recent signing of a second partnership between the modding team at EnduRacer’s and the French Signatech Alpine Racing Team, EnduRacers set about creating this awesome looking mod for the team! Even as they were working on their Endurance Series V1.0 update for rFactor 2, EnduRacer’s Signatech Alpine A460 LMP2 WEC car was completed with some time to spare, prior to the running of this year’s LeMans 24 race.
In successfully completing the project, the modding team at EnduRacers were able to supply Alpine Racing and its drivers of the real world version of this car, Nicolas Lapierre, Gustavo Menezes and Stephane Richelmi, with this custom mod. The three drivers were then able to train in their private simulator using rFactor2 and their own version of the WEC LMP2 car!
Enduracers had this to say about working with the Alpine Racing Team on this car mod for rFactor2:
”As for the A450 it has been a pleasure to work with them and we are fully happy with the result. The model has been build up to Enduracers best graphic standards.”
Enduracers have stated that the Alpine A460 model was exclusively developed for the Signatech simulator, subsequently the mod car will not be included in the Endurance Series V1.0 build. The official V1.0 car list is however, unchanged. Speaking of the new Alpine A460 and the Oreca 05 LMP2 versions of the same model, these will more than likely be added to the rFactor 2 Endurance Series mod in a later update.

The three drivers of the #36 Signatech Alpine A460, Nicolas Lapierre, Gustavo Menezes and Stephane Richelmi drove their car to victory in the 2016 Le Mans 24 LMP2 class! This was extremely gratifying news for the team at Enduracers!
