Fanatec has been on an announcing frenzy! They have just unveiled the Round 1 Wheel Rim for the Fanatec Clubsport Wheel, their fourth rim revealed in the course of ten days. This rim looks to appeal to the people looking for a GT rim, but in a size point smaller than their BMW Rim.
Clocking in at 270mm, the Round 1 Rim is wrapped in fine leather, and appears to feature 17 buttons, a directional pad. The wheel also features the 7-way encoder button that will also make its way to the Oval Rim we mentioned earlier. The shifter paddles on the back of the wheel look similar to the ones used in the Fanatec Formula Rim, so they should be adjustable to the user’s liking.
The Fanatec Round 1 Wheel Rim will be available this summer for $349.99/€349.99. Fanatec has also alluded to more rims being announced in the near future, so you may want to keep your eyes on their official blog from time to time.
