Hardware Highlight – Custom Wheel Plate for Thrustmaster Wheels

Some of people enjoy replacing the wheel rim on their Thrustmaster T500RS or TX with a real life wheel. However, one of the catches with doing that is you lose the buttons on the wheel. Forum member Steve Spenceley purchased a used Momo Millennium wheel for his TX, and decided he wanted to create a wheel plate to add paddles and buttons to the wheel. The results are pretty awesome as you can see!

The customized wheel plate includes twenty buttons and 2 shifter paddles. Steve used the Derek Speare Designs circuit board to wire the buttons to the plate. For a full list of the components used, you can check out this post in his original thread. Be sure to drop by Steve’s forum thread and give him some props on a job well done!
