HPP Simulations Grand Opening

Our hobby just gets better by the day! HPP Simulations just opened their virtual doors to bring us a new design in the pedal set market. Much needed in my opinion as high end pedals are in high demand.

These look pretty incredible too with multiple options for both their two and three pedal designs. . The three pedal sets are coming in at just under $1000. All of the sets offer an hydraulic brake system.

Here’s more info from their website.

HPP simulation is proud to announce our new website and new line of high performance hydraulic based simulation pedal systems.

Our unique design started with a blank sheet of paper with the goal of a purpose built hydraulic system specifically designed for the ultimate in sim racing. We integrated the master cylinder with a reverse acting slave cylinder. This avoided the need for any additional fluid lines, as well as providing a very compact footprint in size. Machined out of 6061T6 aluminum, along with the use of only high quality hardware and components ensures HPP’s pedals can take the most rugged use and are of the utmost in high quality.

Brake:

• Each unit comes with 2 rubber bumpers for fine tuning the brake feel to individual preferences. There is a hard bumper and a soft bumper. In addition to these, the user can fine tune their preference by adjusting the pre-load on the bumpers. The braking threshold and modulation feedback provided to the user via our hydraulic system is outstanding.

Gas:

• The gas pedal incorporates a linear slide potentiometer unlike the common rotary potentiometer found on a lot of pedal systems. This provides true positional linearity relative to pedal movement. The end result is a super smooth and accurate gas pedal movement.

Clutch:

• There are 3 distinct “stages” of the clutch pedal travel. The first is slight resistance, somewhat of free pedal travel just like reality, this travel is very small. The 2nd stage is where you feel the increased resistance as if you were actually compressing the pressure plate spring on a clutch. The 3rd stage is when you’ve compressed the pressure plate spring and the resistance “releases” for the rest of the pedal travel.

Misc:

• There are currently two versions of each pedal set available, vertical and slanted.

• Each unit comes complete with a USB cable and is ready to use when received by the user. Simply plug into your PC, calibrate, and race!

• The brake, clutch, and gas pedals are adjustable in height and left-to-right

• There are top mounting provisions on each leg

• Self lubricated bronze bushings are used throughout the pedal system

• Stainless steel hardware is used throughout the system

• The gas and clutch pedal’s travel is adjustable and the movement force can also be adjusted by using different springs
