iRace4Life Wyatt Gooden iRacing GT3 Car Tutorial

Wyatt Gooden who has a budding career as real world race car driver, gives some tips on how to setup the various GT3 cars in iRacing as well as the differences between the four cars. He does it all while sitting in a pretty amazing sim racing chassis that includes an SimXperience Accuforce wheel and Stage 4 motion platform.

He takes each car around Road Atlanta for a few laps as well and provides some tips on getting around the circuit.

  1. Yeah, I just do not get much out of these video classes. Still there is usually something that piques my interest in them and makes me go try some stuff on the game, so not a total loss. I don’t do too much tuning on iRacing since that means the races are twice as long. I am not saying there is nothing in the videos.

    1. well Tim, not to be mean, but it wasn’t produced for just you. A lot of people are getting great information out of these videos. Also, looking at your iRating, no offense but you can use all the help you can get 😉

      1. Yeah, I could use a lot of help. But I am not going to be improving any time in the foreseeable future. LOL I have resigned myself to just using iRacing for my own private lap work. I have no desire to wreck the other racers or be in their way. I still enjoy it, just in a different way. Like I said, I don’t mean they are not useful. I have picked up some tips that help me in my setups for other games more so that iRacing. Some of the ways things work in video games do carry over throughout the industry.

  2. Hey Darin, thanks so much for the coverage of iRace4Life, you went above and beyond with this piece. I could only imagine the amount of video editing to be done, later buddy.
