iRacing: Super Late Model Render

Brian Simpson has released the first render of the Super Late Model, which is set to arrive on the service this year.

The Super Late Model has long been a car desired by the community, and has had a roller coaster of a development cycle for its inclusion for iRacing. iRacing had begun scanning a different Super Late Model, but an accident led iRacing to find a different car to scan, delaying the release.

The Super Late Model is modeled after the Pro All Star Series (PASS) Super Late Model, and will feature a straight rail chassis, as opposed to the perimeter chassis on the current late model iRacing has on the service. The car will also feature customizable grill and headlight decals, as in the real car.

The car will not be ready for release in the next build, but should be the next car to be released, followed by the Dallara DW12 and the Holden VF Commodore. The Super Late Model series will be for iRacing oval Class C drivers, and will feature full course cautions.
