PiBoSo has released Beta update 11 of his Kart Racing Pro simulation, bringing bug fixes and new features to his karting simulator. Some notable additions are track sounds, the ability to preload the gearbox, and splitting content into categories. You can see the full list of changes in the log below.
Kart Racing Pro is an independently developed simulator to simulate multiple types of karts, ranging from 60cc kid karts all the way up to 6-speed shifter karts. 6 type of karts are available to be driven on four tracks, with more community built tracks available in KRP’s forums. The sim retails for 29 Euro (around $40 USD), with a free trial available for download here.
Keep an eye out on our YouTube channel for Darin to give this sim a test drive in the near future. What do you guys think about how karting is portrayed in sim racing? There anything you’re looking forward to in particular?

This looks like a bit of fun but since there are already karts available in Game Stock Car and, now, rFactor2, I doubt I’ll be investing any money in a dedicated kart racing sim.
That fist pump is epic.
I was really interested in this sim until KartSim was announced to still be a thing… frankly, if that sim delivers on *half* of its promises, it will surpass most racing sims, including the big ones
I have had Kart Racing Pro for over a year now. It does have the best karts of any game, even better than the shifter karts in GT6, but the tracks are the limiting factor. You get 3 tracks, 2 variants each, but the tracks in the forum are available if you can figure out how to install them. I do race GT6 shifter karts quite a bit, they are fun on the big tracks especially Nordschleife. If they would off bigger tracks it would be a lot more fun. The servers are the real problem with the game though. They lag and ghost and do all kinds of weird stuff. Still the game has potential.
