This Month Inside Sim Racing for October 2013 Edition:
This show launches a lot of new things for Darin and I at Inside Sim Racing and represents a milestone moment in time for the show and website. We have decided to really relax things for the monthly show and make it more about community involvement. This new format will be quicker and hopefully create conversation and community input to take it to a new level.
In this show we cover our new website that was launched a little over a week ago. This website was built with the idea of becoming the best sim racing resource on the planet. We take a tour of some of its new features and also talk about how you can be part of its growth and additional thoughts.
We then move on to Sim Chassis of the Month and feature a rig built by a very passionate sim racer.
We finish with the Ultimate Racing Simulation. This is a topic that Darin and I have discussed for a long time and want to develop over time. We want to define what makes the ultimate racing simulation and which developers have set the benchmark in different categories. We also want your input on the topic. Here’s some categories that we want to know what you think and which developer or sim has the best feature in that category. Or, let us know a category that should be added and which title or titles should be in it.

So what really excites me about this show and the new website is that it really shows that we plan to take things to a new level with daily news reports and stories. In the past, a show would be created, talked about for a while, and then possibly forgotten. Now a new video might will include more food for thought along with it and envoke more conversation. We encourage everyone to chime in with opinions, pictures or even videos in response. Then the article can continue to grow, or even modernize over time. Sim racing is an ever changing industry or hobby and we wanted Inside Sim Racing to be built in that same mind set. We look forward to the future for us all.
