NASCAR Heat Evolution On PS4 Will Feature 40 Player Races!

Scheduled for release on September 13th, 2016, we now know that NASCAR Heat Evolution on PS4 will feature 40 player races! As a Playstation 4 first, up to 40 human players will be able to race each other online in NASCAR Heat Evolution. Definitely an enormous field of thundering NASCARS which Sean Wilson, Executive Producer at Dusenberry Martin Racing, announced in his recently released Playstation blog.

Along with this announcement, the upcoming title will also feature a variety of game modes for players to choose from. Championship Mode: Players can select their favourite NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver and play an entire season or opt for various shorter season lengths. Career Mode: In career mode, players are able to customise aspects of the game, such as their driver, to aid in the acquisition of new sponsors and help improve their car.

Sean goes on to explain the driving force behind NASCAR Heat Evolution is their dedication in providing Playstation racers with the most intense NASCAR racing experience possible. In cooperation with Monster Games, best known for developing and producing classic NASCAR games, such as the original NASCAR Heat and NASCAR: Dirt to Daytona, Dusenberry Martin Racing have spared no effort in finding ways to innovate within their title to ensure their vision becomes a reality.

NASCAR Heat EvolutionSean Wilson explains the online multiplayer lobbies available to players:

There will be three different online lobbies available: No Rules, Normal, and Hosted.

  • No Rules: If you’re a beginner just looking to learn, bump, and crash (or you just want to bump and crash), the No Rules lobby is for you. This is a great place to practice, try things out, or just have a good time with friends.
  • Normal: For players who want to test their skills but are still looking for a good, clean, and friendly race.
  • Hosted: This lobby is for people who are more serious about racing. Race hosts will have the option to decide which level of player can join the race session. For example, if the host only wants racers level 5 or higher, he or she can set that parameter when creating the session. In addition, hosts have the right to boot players from their game.

There should be enough here to get Playstation 4 NASCAR and racing fans alike excited at the prospect of being able to race in full fields of 40 cars against human opponents. Sean Wilson’s complete blog can be found here. This is certainly a unique opportunity, and one that players won’t have to wait too much longer to try for themselves, mark September the 13th down in your calendar, folks!
