New MotoGP Previews Show Off New Lighting

With Milestone’s MotoGP 14 making its way to the Playstation 4, many have wondered how the racing title will look on the next-gen hardware. Now we have a little glimpse of how it’ll look, courtesy of two new previews of the title. A new post processing engine, called YEBIS 2, is being used for the racer, which is actually the same one used in the Final Fantasy Tech Demo a couple years back. As you can tell, the engine does wonders for MotoGP, and it will be interesting to see it in action.

  1. My Opinion
Looks interesting, except for the fundamental flaw..

As you can see the lighting is an improvement , except for the blown out sky..
Its a look from a digital camera, (the blown out sky) but that effect is not as intense when a person looks at the same scene.
So what Im trying to say is that they are replicating what a camera would see not a person.

Couldn’t agree more with you, I actually prefer the images on the left, at least I would be able to see where I would be going. The images on the right are spot on photo-realistic. But that’s the problem, they are “photo”-realistic, and not “eye”-realistic
