Assetto Corsa is quickly becoming one of the major sim racing titles in our industry. However, at this point in time, racing on dirt is not implemented, and there is no word as to if it will be officially added. That has not stopped the community from trying dirt in Assetto Corsa though! I stumbled upon a cool video of the BMW M3 E30 DTM car being driven on a dirt varient of the Pine Hill Raceway.

bobskype built the fictional Pine Hill Raceway from scratch, utilizing skills he learned by porting the Green Coast Circuit from BeamNG. He also decided to experiment with the track surfaces, and the results look pretty awesome! He made a dirt version of the circuit to supplement the original circuit, and it seems to actually have some decent off-road physics!

Have you given the dirt variant of Pine Hill Raceway a try? What are your thoughts?

Pretty C00l Track! I, just downloaded it and tried it with my Datsun pickup. My wheel doesn’t work real well, but I still got a G00d taste of it. Thanks, it Gonna be Fun with my New Wheel.
This game just keeps expanding. Always a surprise. Time to download and get going.
Okay, it is okay. I guess dirt must be harder to simulate than asphalt or concrete.
