Polyphony Digital has released the first official Gran Turismo app, giving a full guide to the full car database* of Gran Turismo 6 including images, specifications, and descriptions of the 1,200+ cars. You are also able to set your favorites, for quick and easy access.
In addition to the car database, the “Beyond the Apex” booklet, previously available only in the Asian Special Edition of GT6, is now available to all iOS devices (Sadly, there are no plans for an Android version). The booklet serves as a basic primer to automotive engineering, physics, and tuning, to get the most out of Gran Turismo (and racing sims in general). A course guide is also provided, covering many of GT6’s circuits. I had the booklet that came with Gran Turismo 5, and it was very well done, so I’d expect the GT6 version to be just as good.
