Assetto Corsa – Prestige & Japanese PS4 XBOX One DLC Packs Dropping This Week

Kunos Simulazioni – Assetto Corsa Prestige & Japanese PS4 XBOX One DLC packs dropping this week! Playstation 4 owners of Assetto Corsa can expect not one, not two, but three DLC car packs this week! Our friends over at GTPlanet recently reported on the upcoming packs with the first of the two due to drop on Thursday, October 6th. The Prestige pack will include nine cars, varying from an everyday driver Audi A1 S1 up to the Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera! The rest of the cars in the pack are all sport-orientated models. Initially, the Prestige pack will be available to PS4 players with no concrete announcement on when XBOX One players can expect their version of the pack.

  • BMW M4 Coupe
  • Corvette C7 Stingray
  • Ferrari 488 GTB

  • Toyota GT86

Friday, October 7th will see the release of the following DLC car pack, the Japanese pack. PC players will already be familiar with the content of this pack. It was made available to PC players in the first half of 2016 and included seven of the most popular Japanese sports cars from Toyota, Nissan and Mazda, with variations of certain models increasing the number to twelve drivable cars for players to enjoy.

The Full List Of  Cars Included In The Japanese Pack:

  • Mazda MX-5 2015
  • Mazda MX-5 CUP
  • Mazda RX-7 Spirit R  (Tuned variant also included)
  • Toyota Supra MK IV  (Time Attack and Drift variants included)
  • Toyota AE86 Trueno  (Tuned and Drift variants included)
  • Nissan 370Z NISMO
  • Nissan GT-R R34 Skyline V-Spec

Finally, Friday, October 7th will also see a third DLC car pack released, the Performance Pack. This will include the Ferrari 488 GTB, Audi R8 V10 Plus, and Corvette C7 Stingray.  This completes the pre-order offerings that were available to purchasers during the pre-release of the console version. The three DLC packs will now be available to all PS4 players and as mentioned previously, XBOX One players will have to wait a little longer for their versions.

EDIT 06-10-2016, Marco Massarutto has updated us on the DLC packs for XBOX One players of the title:

Great news everyone! Xbox One owners can now download update V1.03 today including smoother framerate, no screen tearing, re-balanced AI’s and FREE bonus content. 

Playstation 4 owners will also be able to purchase the Prestige pack which include 9 new cars! You can find more information on the PS Store. Don’t worry because Xbox One owners will be able to download the Prestige Pack tomorrow as well. If this wasn’t enough then you will be pleased to hear that we are launching the Japanese Pack on both consoles tomorrow and Season Pass owners will be able to download this pack at no extra charge!

Please note: if you pre-ordered Assetto Corsa then you will be able to buy the remaining 6 cars from the Prestige pack in the Performance Upgrade pack which launches tomorrow too!
